I tried searching for this figure on our local anime stores here. Until unexpectedly, when it wasn’t really my plan to buy this. I passed by a store that sells PSP and Nintendo DS games. This was the first thing that caught my eyes. I didn’t even have money on my wallet, but I really wanted this XD. Good thing is i brought my card with me and the store accepts them XD.

“Rain or shine!” we’ll still go at the OtakonEK event. Actually, its raining season here. I just don’t know if we were lucky or not.. the sun burned our skins and it was extremely hot! absolutely no rain.

When we arrived at EK’s parking lot, I was like in Harajuku-Philippines. I saw the cosplayers getting ready and gearing up. Oversized weapons and gadgets on the floor. Very well made costume and fraps.

Groups like Bleach (Tousen, Kenpachi, Aizen, Ichigo, Rukia, Kyouraku(Awesome, Shikai!), etc..), D.gray-man, Rozen Maiden (Shinku, Hana-Ichigo and Souiseiseki) too bad no Suiseiseki =(, and the whole Akatsuki Clan XD.
Characters like — The hot Takius-sama from Ragnarok the Animation, Gai-sensei from Naruto, Itachi-Anbu, Chibi-Gara, Human-size Voltes V, and many more.. There were also some Western costumes like Spiderman, Catwoman, Scream, etc..

Major Characters:
a mysterious young boy named Kotarou, a red-haired assassin swordsman Nanashi (Nameless Swordsman) and a foreign 6-feet tall golden haired assassin Rarou.

The core of the story is the struggle of Kotarou’s fate. an important ingredient resides in his blood. The Elixir of Immortality. The item that led the Ming dynasty dream of having one.

Ming sent out assassins where Rarou was introduced, they were outsiders hired in search for the boy.

The story changed when Kotarou met Nanashi. They were both short-tempered at first, but they got attached to each other easily.

Nanashi, is a swordsman driven by fate, who vowed that his sword should never leave its sheath again. Until he realized that it’s the only way to save the boy.

When the boy was caught, Nanashi rushed to save him and ended up fighting with Rarou, who’s only desire is to fight a strong opponent like him.

BONES did it again, a very nice movie. I’m lucky that I got a very high quality file. The animation, soundtrack, sword fight rocks! Truly the best. Watch this movie with popcorn and drinks. You’ll enjoy this.

damn those anime video streaming sites. my intention was only to watch the latest of the shippuden series and i ended up sneaking with the new ones. and yea, one anime trailer had gained my otaku eyes and animaniac optic nerve - school days. it was tagged under the love and horror genre. now how cool was that? so i watched it half day since it only ran at 12 episodes.

it will gather your high school sweetheart memories, your trashy circle of treacherous friends and your immature work of arts. this anime definitely has that reminiscing compound element on how hard you fell and how far you went for the sake of a remarkably dense childish love to that cute but absolutely asshole guy. you’ll be on the same wavelength with the main characters especially if you’re one of those girls who once was charmed by your playboy seatmate. and no matter how many hellish curses you threw at him for all the emotional damages he made, still… he’s unforgettable. and as the saying goes… pretty girls always go for the bad guys.

episodes 1 to 11 were full of stupid girls and one horny boy. it’s so annoying to see someone who is committed to somebody then cheats - breaks up and hooks up with your best friends and enemies- then cheats again. who could have been more pathetic than your two schoolmates practicing how to kiss, touch a girl’s chest and have sex so they can be ready for the real thing? some practice ey? what if your girlfriend caught you practicing with her best friend? what should you do?

i dunno about you but i was so angry! and my angst only resulted for intriguingly finishing this whole f****d up series.

but in all honesty, i’ve fallen for the last episode. it’s so insanely twisted and morally terrifying. why? sorry can’t tell. i’m no spoiler!

From the anime studio Bones (Bonzu) that has produced numerous and great series such as, RahXephon, Wolf’s Rain, Scrapped Princess, Darker than Black, and Full Metal Alchemist (which is still on the top 5 anime series of all time.)

50 Episodes packed of Adventures, Mecha, Romance and War. Conflict between two great brothers, alien invasions and the love story of a human and a coralian.

The series centers around Renton Thurston, the fourteen-year-old son of Adrock Thurston, a military researcher who died saving the world. He lives what he considers a boring life with his grandfather in a boring town. He loves lifting, a sport similar to surfing but with trapar, a substance abundant throughout the air, as the medium. He dreams of joining the renegade group Gekkostate, led by his idol Holland, a legendary lifter.

The series also covers other more personal themes such as parenting, and family, along with a very innocent view of puppy love/love at first sight from Renton and Eureka. I really love most is the humor, They were like kids even if they’re adults. Renton really gave life to Gekko State.

One funny thing is they get uber excited when there are big waves coming because they love to skate, actually they call it reffing.

The soundtrack is super amazing, it became an LSS (Last Song Syndrome) for about 1 month. Sakura - Nirgilis and the song being played when Renton rescued Eureka from falling.

This anime reminded me of Evangelion. Their robots are made of flesh, scientifically speaking they are organic. Same with both the Nirvash and TheEnd.

50 out of 50 episodes which I watched for 2 days, it almost made me skip work XD. Once you watch it you’ll never stop =D.

I’m never really into the Romeo and Juliet story. It’s too boring for me so I never watched it. But the anime did a different approach. Just the way they display the swordplays and fight scenes. You’ll really know if its Western or Japanese.

I woke up awhile ago with a terrible headache. It’s like my head had been shot by Nanoha’s Divine Buster XD. A bit bored since I woke up early. Nothing to do, 6 hours before work (lol so early). I was about to reformat my PC, and a folder of Romeo and Juliet series glimpse on the backup stuffs. I told myself that I have to check out one episode. And there.. another episode… another one.. one last.. promise last!.. its now or never, last !!! — err im friggin late for work. XD~ Honestly, I only watched up to the 7th episode, because my boss will kill me XD. But I read the sypnosis and some short summary. Can’t wait to go home. hehe. But I guess having a review of this is one way to kill time.

Lead Characters:

Very impressive animation and storyline. I haven’t watched it at full but based from the summary I read, it has a pretty storyline. The soundtrack for the opening theme which is Inori~You Raise Me Up was splendid. The credit really goes to Gonzo. Ownage! For those who love Adventure, Fantasy, Comedy, Romance and Swordplay. Here’s a great anime for you to watch! XD

Claymore is set in a fictional world with medieval technology. Politically, it appears to consist of a large number of scattered, apparently independent, towns. In this world, humans coexist with creatures called Yoma sentient monsters that feed on human guts. The Yoma, being shapeshifters, are capable of taking on human form and living in disguise amongst humans. By consuming a human’s brain, Yoma can also absorb their memories, allowing them to disguise themselves as specific people without alerting any of their close friends or family.

A nameless and highly secretive organization has created an order of superhuman warriors to protect humans from the Yoma. These warriors have come to be popularly known as Claymores, after the immense claymore swords they wield. Villages being attacked by Yoma hire Claymores to kill the Yoma for a large fee.

The story of Claymore follows the adventures of the Claymore warrior Clare. The plot follows her as she fights Yoma and struggles to hold on to her humanity. Starting in the 3rd volume, there is a flashback to her childhood on how she was ‘adopted’ by the Claymore Teresa. After Teresa rebels against the organization and is subsequently killed, Clare volunteers to become a Claymore using Teresa’s flesh in order to take revenge on the Awakened One who killed her. My favorite character here is not actually Clare but Teresa. She’s known to be a cold-blooded killer who doesn’t care about her surroundings. Until she met a young girl, who showed her strength and courage. The bond of closeness formed between the two. Until she never knew that she’ll be the cause of her death. In positive ways as she protected her from the bandits. As the number one rule of the Claymores that they should never kill any human. Thus, getting the name of Teresa of the Faint Smile, because she fights tremendously without exerting much of her demonic powers but still smiles all the way.

I like this anime so much that I watched it all the way to 26 episodes in 1 day. I missed lunch and dinner lol XD~
